Apply our previous research in vehicular networks, to estimate the carbon dioxide emission levels by vehicles in the most important West-African cities. To do so, we develop a computer based framework able to model and simulate the traffic of vehicles in the target cities, and based on input data such as vehicle characteristics, speed, and density to estimate the levels of carbon dioxide emission.
