Dr. Ing. Thierry C. Fotso-Nguemo currently works as researcher at the Climate Change Research Laboratory (CCRL) of the National Institute of Cartography at Yaounde (Cameroon). In September 2018, Thierry completed his Ph.D in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Yaounde 1, Cameroon. His research mainly focuses on climate variability and change, as well as extreme weather events over Central Africa. In the framework of the climapAfrica programme, Thierry intends to assess the impact of heat stress change on the health and the daily productivity of populations living in his area of interest, under the effect of global warming.

I participate at climapAfrica because...
Beyond the fact that it is an opportunity to successfully complete my research project, I also hope to live a unique experience that will allow me to stimulate my mind and my curiosity in order to improve my general knowledge related to climate change.
