SHARE is an EU-Grant funded project implemented by a consortium consisting of British Council, Campus France, DAAD, the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), the European University Association (EUA) and Nuffic.
Through its different areas of work one of SHARE´s goals were to have an impact on policy, institutional and individual levels to address regional education policy makers, individual universities, as well as university managers but also students. By the end of SHARE in June 2020, it was envisaged to have achieved an increased and enhanced student mobility across ASEAN through improved qualification frameworks, quality assurance measures, an ASEAN-wide credit transfer system as well as a diverse scholarship scheme. Also, equality regarding opportunities for exchange should have been improved while thereby better connectivity across higher education in ASEAN has been established. Lastly the ties between ASEAN and EU universities should have been strengthened to as well increase opportunities for transcontinental institutional partnerships.
