Annotation

Studying Physics and taking on social responsibility at the same time? Tackling the climate, environment and sustainability as topics and actively shaping them? This is all possible with the Bachelor course “Physics of Green Technologies”. The combination of Physics with the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Technology promises versatile and exciting career prospects. In 8 semesters, the course combines solid Physics education with extensive insights into a wide range of scientific disciplines. Equipped with a wide range of knowledge, you will be able to evaluate projects in the areas of energy, sustainability and species protection and thus actively participate in decision-making processes. In addition, you can initiate the dialogue about them through the comprehensive insight into other disciplines and thus act as a linking factor. The Bachelor's degree in 'Physics of Green Technologies' offers you various development opportunities. So you can choose between the main areas of Physics-Chemistry-energy and Biology. In both areas, you can expect comprehensive Physics education, which will enable you to choose from a wide range of Physics and Environmental Master's programmes. It is also possible to study according to individual preferences, i.e. without a fixed specialisation. In addition to the basics, you can complement your studies with numerous exciting modules: - Chemical Thermodynamics and Electro-chemistry - Biophysical Chemistry - Humans and the Environment - Regional Development and Spatial Planning - Environmental Planning and Ecological Location Analysis - Renewable Energy Engineering - Energy Supply, Transport and Storage - Genetics and Microbiology - Probiotic Molecular Biology In an internship you will get to know relevant fields of application and at the same time establish contact with potential employers.
