Annotation
As the only English-language Bachelor's degree course in Germany, the BA in Global Hospitality Management in Dresden prepares you for a leading role in the international hotel industry. You will learn how to manage a hotel strategically and sustainably, to motivate your employees, to develop marketing; and event concepts and how to create financial and business plans. Founding companies and idea development for start-ups are also part of the degree course. In addition, you will expand your language skills and will therefore be well prepared for an (inter)national career. Your degree course is very practice-oriented. Together with your fellow students from all over the world, you will work on numerous projects. Some of these will involve well-known hotel chains or students from our renowned partner universities, e.g. Institute Paul Bocuse Lyon, Hotel school The Hague, University College Prague, Technological University Dublin and University of New Hampshire. Guest lectures by international industry experts, excursions and practical assignments provide additional insights into the operational processes of the hotel industry. Within the BA degree in Global Hospitality Management, you will acquire both business basics and special knowledge of the hotel industry. In addition, you will also deal with future hotel concepts and operations, identify trends and develop innovative business models. Hospitality technologies and sustainability as well as modern human relation management and digitisation are also part of your curriculum.
Admission requirements
To apply for the Bachelor’s degree in Global Hospitality Management, you will need: - Higher education entrance qualification (general higher education entrance qualification, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification). OR - Proof of a subject-specific professional qualification + 3 years of professional experience (more information on studying without a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur)) - Proof of knowledge of English - Successful passage of the selection procedure - Curriculum vitae with current passport photo - Copy of identity document (front and back) or, for foreign students, copy of the national identity card

Tuition fees
for EU/EEA students (including Western Balkans, Switzerland and Ukraine): EUR 620 per month for non-EU/non-EEA students: EUR 4,900 per semester The monthly fee remains the same throughout the entire period of study. The one-off enrolment fee is EUR 750.00. If you come from a non-EEA country without a permanent residence permit, the enrolment fee is EUR 1,000 – you must pay tuition fees for a semester in advance
