Annotation

On the one hand, the degree programme in Social Work imparts scientifically sound knowledge and action competences from social work and related sciences such as sociology, law, psychology, etc. on the other hand, the programme promotes competences to be able to act responsibly and professionally in relation to social problems and in concrete social contexts. This degree course (full-time course in person) is offered in Aachen, Cologne, Münster and Paderborn. Admission requirements

Pre-study work placement (3 months) in the field of social work, social education or special needs education. The pre-study work placement is deemed to have been completed when you have acquired the qualification for the course of study by means of the certificate of entrance qualification for studies at a technical school for social work/special education. The fulfilment of the required pre-study work placement must be credibly assured by the application deadline. The actual completion of the programme is possible until the beginning of the semester (September 1st).
