DUZ Special on KIWi

Hands with DUZ-Special, KIWi

An introduction to KIWi

KIWi presents its portfolio of services for German universities in a 20-page special supplement to the DUZ magazine. The supplement contains articles on current focus areas such as science diplomacy or risk and security. It also features voices from university representatives who have received individual advice from KIWi. Dr. Sven Werkmeister, director of the DAAD Strategy Department gives an in-depth interview alongside high-ranking representatives of the BMFTR (Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space) and the Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt), who place KIWi's advisory mandate in a political context.

Self-assessment tool for structured risk assessment
The KIWi Knowledge Security Checklist is a tool for reviewing and assessing security-related dimensions of international academic cooperation. It can be used as a self-assessment tool by individual scientists and researchers responsible for cooperation, and as a dialogue tool to support internal university review and coordination processes. An English version will be published shortly.
