Dr Albert Novas Somanje is currently a Sustainability Specialist and a Senior Agricultural Officer with the Ministry of Agriculture in Zambia since 2006. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Sustainability Science from the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability. Besides, he holds a Masters Degree in Climate Change and Development from the University of Cape Town, certified in Project Management and Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow from the University of California, Davis.
Climate change expertise and interests
His research interest includes Sustainable development, sustainable agricultural production, food security, climate change and development. His recent research was on sustainable urban-rural linkages and agricultural extension in Ghana and Zambia.
