Learning: During my PhD, I was engaged in an industry-oriented project on the KUKA robot platform. We had to work in close collaboration with industrial experts to understand the requirements and the deliverables. In this regard, the structured programs at Aachen University towards fruitful cooperation between academia and industry will provide ample opportunities to enhance my knowledge and skills for a better future career.
Exposure: Siemens, being the hub to smart manufacturing, robots etc., is the biggest attraction. In particular, exposure to its initiatives towards energy-efficient and sustainable technologies which is visible in upcoming innovations like conversion of carbo- dioxide to energy etc. would act as a valuable input to making my country a better place in terms of reusability of energy resources.
Networking: Competence Centre of Machine Learning Rhine being the most advance centre for low power based embedded systems, FPGA's etc., is of much interest to me. As I have done my M.Tech in embedded systems and Ph.D. in machine learning technologies, work done at this centre fascinates me a lot. I would love to make new connections with the people of my domain, so that I can get insight into new problem statements that we can solve as a team.
