Semitic Studies is a linguistic and literary discipline that deals with the study of Semitic languages. You will gain a profound insight into these by learning a Semitic language as well as specialised linguistic and philological method modules. This minor subject can be combined particularly well with major subjects in which a Semitic language such as Arabic, Akkadian or Hebrew is taught.
