Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here:https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor In the four-semester minor subject "Languages of the Near and Middle East" you can acquire basic language skills in the modern, spoken languages of the Near and Middle East: Arabic, Persian or Turkish. You can complement this language proficiency with specialist modules that introduce you to the diversity of this region and give you insights into a wide range of areas such as history, culture(s), societies, languages, religions, politics and economics. After completing the sub-course, you will be able to master the language and read and understand easy to moderately difficult texts, follow easy to moderately difficult conversations and express yourself well. An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills programme, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/fb09/igs/arbeitsgruppen/sprechwissenschaft/marskills/was-ist-marskills).
