Annotation

In the Master's degree programme in Vocational Education Health, students will specialise their professional education and specialist scientific knowledge and will be able to teach the subject of health at different types of schools. The degree course builds on the Bachelor´s degree course in Vocational Education in Health at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences and is conducted in cooperation with the latter. In addition to the "classic" variant, which opens the door to the second phase of teaching qualification (the postgraduate traineeship) and concludes with a Master of Education, there is the possibility of taking over the second subject of nursing from the Bachelor's degree course and obtaining a Master of Arts at the end of the programme. Depending on the academic degree, different occupational fields open up after graduation, ranging from activities at vocational schools in the health care sector to technical secondary schools or grammar schools with a focus on health. In addition, this master's degree programme enables students to teach at vocational schools in the dual system of vocational education (e.g. training as a medical specialist). Part-time study is quite possible due to the course of study in this degree course. Upon request, you can register for part-time studies in accordance with Section 19 (2) Hesse Higher Education Act (HessHG). The specific provisions for part-time studies will then apply. Counselling by the subject-specific student advice service is recommended.
