The Teaching Qualification for Special needs Education (L5) entitles holders to teach at special schools, however the teaching qualification also relates to teaching at primary schools and the subject studied for teaching at intermediate and German intermediate schools. The degree course has a modular structure (completed with the State Examination academic degree for the Teaching Qualification for Special Education).
