Annotation
The Bachelor’s degree programme in Business Education at the Duisburg campus combines business content with educational fundamentals and prepares students for roles in the educational field as well as in business. The course is organised in a block system and offers compact teaching, learning and examination phases. An integrated school and company work placement provides practical insights into various professional fields at an early stage. In addition, current practical topics and external partners are regularly incorporated into the teaching. The academic degree primarily qualifies students for the advanced Master of Education in Business Education, which enables teaching at vocational schools. Alternatively, students may also enrol for a Master’s degree course in Business Administration. A mentoring programme supports students at the start of their studies, while a structured study organisation and qualified advice accompany them throughout their studies. International partnerships offer opportunities for stays abroad, and direct contact with employers complements the practical profile of the degree programme.
