The following subject combinations are available for the Bachelor's degree course for the Teaching Qualification for Special Schools: -\tSpecial education specialisation I (emotional and social development or learning) -\tSpecial education specialisation II (one of the not selected special education specialisations I or one of the specialisations Mental Development, Listening and Communication, Physical and Motor Development, Language) -\tTeaching subject I or learning area I (teaching subject Mathematics, German, learning area Basic Education in Mathematics or Basic Education in Language) -\tTeaching subject II (Biology, Chemistry, German, English, French, Art, Mathematics, Music, Physics, Protestant/Catholic Religious Education or learning area II (Aesthetic Education, Basic Education in Mathematics, Natural and Social Sciences, Basic Education in Language) Sport can be studied as a teaching subject II at the Deutsche Sporthochschule. For Art, Music or Sport, proof of successful completion of an aptitude test has to be submitted upon enrolment. All special education subjects, the teaching subjects Biology, Chemistry, German, English and Mathematics, as well as the learning areas Aesthetic Education, Basic Education in Mathematics, Natural and Social Sciences and Basic Language Education are subject to the local admission restrictions at the Universität zu Köln.
