Admission requirements
Practical vocational training. Evidence must be provided of a relevant work placement of at least 8 weeks in an industrial or skilled manual metalworking profession or a skilled manual work placement of at least 4 weeks in a metalworking profession, if the student has completed vocational training or a work placement in Year 11 of a technical college in a relevant industrial or skilled manual field that were not in a metalworking profession. At least 4 weeks of the work placement must be completed by the commencement of studies. The remaining weeks must be completed by the end of the third semester. Completed vocational training or a work placement as part of Year 11 of the technical college in an industrial or skilled manual metalworking profession replaces the work placement.
