The interdisciplinary core area of the degree course deals with European interdependencies, development processes, current trends and perspectives on Europe. Basic historical, legal, cultural and linguistic knowledge enables the students to analyse and classify the complex issues of Europe independently and critically. This idea of fundamentals plus specialisation is reflected in the structure of the entire Bachelor's degree course.
