Admission requirements

1. An academic degree course comprising at minimum 6 theoretical semesters and 180 ECTS points in the field of Natural Sciences or Engineering with a minimum overall examination grade of 2.5 or higher at a German institution of higher education, or an equivalent qualification. For applicants who have achieved an overall grade below 2.5, they have the chance to prove their aptitude in an aptitude procedure (admissions interview). 2. Proof that a practical semester was completed during the course in accordance with no. 1 or at least 18 weeks of relevant, eligible industrial experience. 3. Proof of at least 10 credit points in the field of Physics / Optics / Laser Technology / Optoelectronics from the degree programme or an equivalent academic degree.
