The Bachelor’s degree course Physician Assistant (BSc) at the Health and Medical University Erfurt is aimed at people with completed professional training in the health and nursing sector who want to expand their qualifications. The degree course qualifies graduates for a supporting position in the medical field, in which physician assistants work closely with doctors under supervision to assist them in treating patients. The degree course is currently undergoing the recognition and accreditation process and is offered on a career-integrated basis with a flexible timetable. It is aimed at medical assistants, nurses, paramedics and those in other medical-technical healthcare professions.

– Entitlement to study in accordance with § 67 ThürHG (general entrance qualification for higher education, subject-restricted entrance qualification for higher education or comparable qualification) or – Possibility of further study in accordance with Section 67 of the ThürHG (Thuringia Higher Education Act) – Higher education admission for professionally qualified persons according to Section 70 of the Thuringia Higher Education Act (ThürHG) – and successfully completed three-year professional training in a specialised healthcare profession The degree programme at the HMU Erfurt is not subject to admission restrictions. After your application, we will check your personal motivation in an individual interview.
