Target group

The Master's degree course in Public Health Nutrition is aimed at graduates of Oecotrophology and related degree courses who work in an interdisciplinary manner and would like to explore new paths in health promotion and prevention of nutrition-related diseases. The degree course considers and researches nutrition issues from a health and population perspective.

Admission requirements

Proof of a Bachelor’s or Diploma examination in a degree course focusing on nutritional science. Graduates of degree courses with a focus on health, sports or food science may be admitted to the programme on the condition that they have demonstrated sufficient nutritional science skills by the end of the first year of study by completing appropriate modules. Applicants who have not obtained their higher education entrance qualification at an English-speaking institution or not already completed a university degree or vocational training predominantly in English must provide proof of English proficiency at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The details are governed by the Statutes on the Required Language Proficiency for Studies at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
