In addition to English proficiency, German proficiency at level A2 must be demonstrated
If you start the Master’s in Data Science with a Bachelor’s degree comprising 180 ECTS, you take the 120 ECTS option. If you start the Master’s in Data Science with a Bachelor’s degree comprising 210 ECTS, you can choose whether you take the 90 or 120 ETCS option of the Master’s degree course.

Completed degree in Computer Science or a related subject from a German or equivalent international university worth at least 180 or 210 credits (corresponds to a 3 or 3.5-year degree course). An average grade of at least 2.5 is required. Subject-related aptitude is assessed by means of an aptitude test conducted by the department.
All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through TOEFL (cbt 213, pbt 550, ibt 85) or IELTS (at least 6.5). Applicants without a higher education entrance qualification in German require German proficiency at level A2 (Goethe, telc, ÖSD, ECL) or alternatively DSH1 or TestDaF with at least TDN 3.
