This degree course is offered both as a major subject and as a minor subject. When registering for the Bachelor's examination and beginning the BA degree course in Romance Studies in the main subject or minor subject, the following foreign language skills should be proven (e.g. university entrance qualification or school certificates that prove the knowledge of at least 4 years, language proficiency tests of the Institute of Romance Studies, other standardised language tests or expert opinions that are no older than 3 years): Core and supplementary language French: At least B1 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) Core and supplementary language Spanish: At least A2 level of the CEFR.
