Annotation

Designing Society: The interdisciplinary degree course in Cultural and Social Studies (BA) is taught in English and German. Enrolment is possible without knowledge of German. Students engage with current topics and challenges in the social and cultural world. You can specialise in the following areas: Europe/s – History, Culture, Politics; Media − Image, Text and Language; Difference – Migration, Gender and Diversity. A semester abroad at one of over 280 partner universities worldwide and internships offer the opportunity to gain intercultural experience and build an international personal and professional network. A vibrant international and multilingual culture is an integral part of the cross-border campus life at the European University Viadrina in the German-Polish twin city of Frankfurt (Oder)-Słubice.
