Admission requirements

The prerequisite for admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Composition is proof of the higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) in accordance with Art. 54 para. 2 of the Hessian Higher Education Act of 14.12.2009 in the version of 21 December 2010. A missing higher education entrance qualification can be replaced by an outstanding artistic talent (at least 19 out of a possible 25 points in the aptitude test) according to Art. 54 Abs. 4 Satz 3 HHG. Sufficient oral and written command of the German language is required for admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Composition. Admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Composition requires the successful completion of an aptitude test.
