Admission requirements

Admission to film studies takes place twice per year. Prerequisites for admission to the Master's degree in Film are a first certificate of academic degree from a state or state-recognised scientific or artistic university as well as proven practical experience through work in the field of film or film-related areas. In deviation from this, admission to the Master's degree in Film may be granted to students who 1) have a special artistic aptitude and 2) can provide evidence of a professional activity which has sufficient content-related connections with the Master's degree in Film and which, in particular, has imparted knowledge and skills which are conducive to the Master's degree in Film.
