Annotation

The course provides comprehensive preparation for a career in the fields of Therapeutic Education / Inclusive Education. Approaches, concepts and methods are taught that expand the educational, development and participatory opportunities of target groups in various areas of life and improve their opportunities for self-determination and quality of life. It also draws on the findings of neighbouring subject areas (e.g. medicine, sociology, psychology, law, ethics, politics) and their perspectives and methods. Study variant with vocational and academic elements: The Catholic University of Applied Sciences also offers a Bachelor’s degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Therapeutic Education / Inclusive Education at the Münster campus. The degree programme begins simultaneously at the university and at a practical training facility. The students will work at both study locations throughout the entire six-semester degree course.
