Annotation

The English-language Mechatronics and Automation (MAU) degree programme is aimed at prospective students from Europe and around the world. The degree course is designed to give both international and German students the opportunity to develop their knowledge of technology "Made in Germany".

Admission requirements

The admission requirement is the general higher education entrance qualification or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or previous education recognised as equivalent as well as English language skills at level B2. The following language certificates are recognised - IELTS: at least 5.5 points, - TOEFL (IBT): at least 72 points, - TOEFL (PBT): at least 543 points, - TOEFL (ITP): at least 543 points, - Telc B2 certificate, - UNIcert II, - Cambridge FCE First Certificate in English, - Cambridge English Qualification: at least 160 points. Applicants order of priority with a German school-leaving certificate can prove their English language skills with the general higher education entrance qualification certificate if the certificate shows at least the grade 'sufficient' in the continuing foreign language.
