Annotation

The Bachelor´s degree course in Psychology (B.Sc.) at the Psychologische Hochschule Berlin (PHB) is designed to be polyvalent in accordance with the reform of the Psychotherapists Act and thus enables further qualification in one of the new psychotherapeutic Master's degree programmes as well as in Master's degrees with other areas of specialisation. In terms of content, the degree course combines a sound scientific education in basic subjects of psychology with comprehensive insights into psychological application areas such as clinical psychology and psychotherapy, industrial and organisational psychology and educational psychology. In the field of clinical psychology, great importance is attached to the teaching of all scientifically recognised psychotherapy methods. Since the PHB itself also offers therapy training, students at the PHB have the opportunity to complete not only the master's degree but also the therapy training in three procedures directly in-house. The Bachelor's degree at the PHB starts in the winter semester. In the summer semester, it is also possible for students from higher study semesters to make a lateral entry.
