Overview
There are single apartments and two-room apartments in the buildings 1 through 5. Rooms are furnished and have a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The large, well-appointed kitchens are shared-use and have a stove, oven, fridge, built-in cupboards and a seating area. There are also three-room apartments in these buildings which have a small kitchen and are suitable for families with children.
Buildings 6 through 13 mostly house single rooms, a majority of which are equipped with modern furnishings. Showers, toilets and kitchens have been undergoing renovations over the past years and are usually shared by seven students. Some of the rooms have their own balcony.
Located close to a woodland area, the City West with all its amenities and cultural institutions as well as the universities can still be easily reached by bus and tram or even by bike.

Rent deposit
The rental deposit is one and a half times one month's rent.
Duration of housing
As a rule students can stay up to ten semesters in a dorm. In compliance with the contract type, the minimum period of residence is three months.
The period of occupancy can be extended by up to four semesters for foreign students, students with chronic illnesses or physical or mental impairments, single parents, for students close to finishing their degree and for part-time students.
