• Standard application procedure

  Application requirements
  Only students enrolled at universities in Augsburg, Kempten or Neu-Ulm are eligible for accommodation. The application documents must be accompanied by either:
  - A study certificate that's valid by the time of registration or
  - A valid approval notification.
  Your application cannot be processed without these documents.
  The applicants' monthly income should not exceed 952 EUR.
  
  Further information on terms of admission and application are provided here (German language only).

  Application deadline
  None. Applications can be submitted online at any time with the required supporting documents.

  Application
  Please use the Application for admission provided on the website of the Studierendenwerk Augsburg.
  
  At the moment, you can't apply for the "Bau-Studierende dorm" online. Please use this application form (only available in German).
  
  Further information on applying for the service package can be found on the website of the Augsburg Student Union: Service package for international students in Augsburg.
  
  If there are currently no places available in a hall of residence, your application will be placed on a waiting list (if available). You will be notified immediately as soon as a place becomes available, but not before!
  
  An application is valid for twelve months.

• Students in the exchange programme WeltWeit and ERASMUS students

  The Augsburg University has a limited contingent of rooms in the five halls of residence of the Studierendenwerk Augsburg. Rental contracts are issued exclusively for the whole semester (October-March or April-September).
  
  You will be able to apply as part of your exchange application. You will be informed about the details by the International Office.
