• Standard application procedure

  Application requirements
  Eligible for application are primarily students who are either already enrolled in a university in Wuppertal or who will be by the start of tenancy.
  Secondarily eligible are students:
  a) who are scientific assistants or the like
  b) who are predominantly employed
  c) whose income surpasses the income limit of the Permit for subsidised housing
  
  As long as there are rooms available applications of other people can be considered.

  Application deadline
  The application deadlines for the winter semester usually end on August 15 and for the summer semester on February 15. Applications received later will be given lesser priority. An application can be made at the earliest 90 days before the desired move-in date.

  To apply, please use the Application for admission provided by Hochschul-Sozialwerk Wuppertal.

• Exchange students (Erasmus+, students from partner universities)

  Exchange students please apply directly at the International Office for a place in a student hall.
  
  The application for a residence hall must be submitted together with the admission application documents.

  A certificate of entitlement to publicly supported housing ("Wohnberechtigungsschein") is required for some units of this hall.
