• Standard application procedure

  Application requirements
  Only those students matriculated at the University of Kassel and their
  children are eligible for the student housing provided by the Studierendenwerk (Student Services).
  Students studying in Witzenhausen can only apply for a student hall in Witzenhausen,
  Likewise, students in Kassel can only apply for a student hall in Kassel.

  Application deadline
  Send your application as soon as you know you are intending to study in Kassel, even if you have not yet applied to the university. The application is non-binding. By sending in your application you will be placed on the waiting list.

  Application
  The application can be sent online.
  
  The application should include: a passport photo, a copy of your passport/ID and proof of enrolment at the university (if available). If you do not have proof of enrolment at the time you make your application, this can be provided later. Applications will only be processed if the documents requested have been attached.

• Additional information

  This dormitory is mainly for exchange students.
  
  Only fully completed applications will be accepted. The number of rooms in student halls is limited. After the reception of your application, your name will be placed on a waiting list. Applicants will be contacted by e-mail every four weeks and asked to confirm their application. If no response is received, the applicant will be removed from the list. The Studentenwerk cannot provide any guarantee for availability!
