Overview

The Offenburg Campus student residences consist of the previous residence hall “Zähringerstraße 36 b” and the three new residence hall buildings at St.-Martin-Straße 4 D,E,F, which will be occupied successively by the winter semester 2025/26. The new ensemble of halls of residence is located in the immediate vicinity of Offenburg University and offers a very high level of living comfort, particularly in the new buildings. Students live in single apartments or in flat-sharing communities for two, four or five people.

Rent deposit

At the beginning of the tenancy, a deposit of € 500.00 for single rooms or € 600.00 for single rooms and € 700.00 for flats is due, which will be returned after moving out, provided there are no complaints about the room. The deposit will be refunded approx. four weeks after the end of the contract.

Duration of housing

In order to allow as many students as possible to live in a dormitory, the rental contract period is limited to six semesters.

In special and justified cases, it is possible to extend the rental contract for up to eight more semesters.
