• Standard application procedure

  Application requirements
  Students for which the Student Administration OstNiedersachsen is responsible. If there are rooms still available, students from other universities, who can give evidence for the reason of their (temporary) stay (internship, work shadowing), will be accepted as well.

  Application deadline
  A reservation request can be made in advance. Proof of enrolment or admission (university place) is only required once the tenancy agreement has been signed. The reservation is free of charge and not legally binding.
  No application deadline.

  Application
  An application to reserve a place in student accommodation can be completed online.
  
  The Studierendenwerk OstNiedersachsen adds the reservation request to the waiting list and offers rooms as they become available to those on the list in that order. You should respond to the offer as soon as possible; otherwise, it will be assumed that there is no longer any interest in a reservation.

• Additional information

  The expected waiting timed (based on the number of reservations and expectations about those moving out of accommodation) is given in the application. The waiting times can be very long, especially at the beginning of the semester.
