Students who are interested in the history of Latin America
In this summer school, the Central Institute for Latin American Studies (ZILAS) offers a unique combination of an intensive German course (for beginners with no prior knowledge) and a specialised programme in Spanish dealing with the development of human rights and their significance in the history of Latin America in the 20th and 21st centuries.
The intensive German course concludes with a "Zertifikat Deutsch A1".
The summer school also includes a preparatory intercultural communication online workshop.

The application needs to be completed online and will be made available on the programme's website in January 2024. The following documents are required in either Spanish or English:

2) transcript of records
3) letter of motivation
Students can book the housing package for the Youth Hostel Ingolstadt (organised by the university) or independently look for accommodation.
Students may have their meals in the student cafeteria.
