Students/professionals with both interest in and experience with German language and literature
The literature seminar of the 2024 Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) Summer School deals with the following topic:
The adolescent phase of life is a kind of intermediate stage between childhood and adulthood. This phase holds significant importance for a person's development: one gradually begins to detach oneself from their parents, experiences first encounters with love and sexuality, tests social role models, and gradually finds their own identity. The Coming of Age genre is dedicated to the exciting and vulnerable time of growing up. Using contemporary literary and cinematic examples, we want to explore the phenomenon of adolescence in this year's summer course.
