Stock: Extensive media resources (approx. 360,000 physical/electronic media); Services: The shared library "LIV - learn. inform. network." offers modern room concepts (e.g. 600 individual/co-learning workspaces) as well as first-class services (including 24h media borrowing and returns) that create a unique, new atmosphere of learning, working and meeting. LIV networks the members of the Heilbronn universities with each other and supports the further development of e-learning tools, including the operation of an e-media laboratory and a variety of e-science services.

Foreign language center and courses

There is no foreign language centre. Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heilbronn maintains contacts with numerous universities abroad. This network offers students a wide range of opportunities to gain international experience during their studies. With aim (Akademie für Innovative Bildung und Management Heilbronn-Franken gemeinnützige GmbH) we have a strong partner on campus that offers courses for students. Rosetta Stone and speexx are also available as learning software.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. The education campus offers a comprehensive programme in the sports of basketball, football and handball. Participation is free of charge. DHBW Heilbronn supports a wide range of sports activities through a sports representative for university sports. On the one hand, the DHBW Heilbronn offers partnerships with other universities/institutions as well as partners and associations, but the students themselves also get involved in various sports, for example as instructors. An annual event is the Drachenboot Cup, where all Heilbronn universities compete against each other. Sports: Basketball, football, handball, chess, volleyball, as well as partnerships with local clubs/institutions in badminton, fitness, padel tennis, tennis, underwater rugby and yoga.
