Locations: Education campus in the heart of Heilbronn.; Stock: Extensive media resources (approx. 360,000 physical/electronic media); Services: The shared library "LIV – learn. inform. network." offers you modern room concepts, such as 600 individual work and co-learning spaces, as well as first-class services, such as 24h media borrowing and returns. This creates a unique atmosphere for learning, working and meeting. LIV supports networking between the students and employees of the Heilbronn universities and supports the further development of e-learning tools, including the operation of an e-media laboratory and a variety of e-science services.

Foreign language center and courses

There is no foreign language centre. Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heilbronn partners with international universities worldwide, so you can gain valuable experience abroad during your degree course and benefit from an international network. With the aim Academy for Innovative Education and Management Heilbronn-Franken gGmbH, we have a strong partner on campus that offers a variety of courses for students. In addition, the Rosetta Stone and speexx learning software are available to expand your language skills.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. The education campus offers a comprehensive programme in the sports of basketball, football and handball, as well as yoga & stretch, self-defence and sports out. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heilbronn promotes university sports with a wide range of activities: In addition to partnerships with other universities and associations, you can also become active as a coach. Highlights include the Dragon Boat Cup and the STIMME Company Run. In addition, DHBW is part of the elite sports promotion programme. Scholarship holders receive financial support, tutorials on exam preparation and personal guidance from the elite sports officer – for the perfect combination of studies and elite sports.
