Locations: The LIV is located on the education campus in the heart of Heilbronn, Bildungscampus 1, 74076 Heilbronn, centrally located in a modern university setting with good infrastructure and short distances.; Stock: LIV has an extensive range of media on offer: Around 170,000 printed physical media – including books and journals as well as approx. 140,000 e-books and approx. 50,000 e-journals.; Services: The shared LIV Library – Learn. Inform. Network. is the central hub for learning and knowledge at DHBW Heilbronn and the universities on the education campus. It offers modern study and workspaces with around 600 individual, group and co-learning workspaces as well as services such as 24-hour media borrowing and return. LIV connects students and staff and supports e-learning and e-science through digital resources, guidance services and an e-media lab. Extensive digital stocks and training offerings are also available.

Foreign language center and courses

There is no foreign language centre. Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heilbronn partners with international universities worldwide, so you can gain valuable experience abroad during your degree course and benefit from an international network.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. The education campus offers sports such as basketball, football, handball, yoga & stretch, self-defence and Sportsout – ideal for staying fit, meeting new people, refuelling, reducing stress, discovering new skills and working out. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heilbronn promotes university sports with a wide range of activities: In addition to partnerships with other universities and associations, you can also become active as a coach. Discounted fitness and health offerings are also available at Sportivo Sport- und Gesundheitszentrum GmbH. Highlights include the Dragon Boat Cup and the STIMME Company Run. The DHBW is a partner university for top sports: Scholarship holders receive financial support, tutorials and personal guidance from the elite sports officer – for the perfect combination of studies and competitive sports.
