Special features regarding the library

Locations: Heidelberg; Berlin; Dresden; Gera; Fürth (BAVARIA); Hamburg - with library on campus; currently 12 additional locations with access to the constantly growing online library; Stock: approx. 70,000 media (Heidelberg: 40000; Berlin: 15000; Dresden: 1000; Fürth: 3800; Hamburg: 200 (under development); Gera: 10,000) + constantly expanded online library (e-books, e-journals, databases); Services: Depending on their size, the libraries on site offer students varying numbers of reading spaces and workstations with WiFi, and in Heidelberg even operate 24/7. The available media are arrayed by subject groups and in the online catalogue (online) and can be consulted and borrowed there. Copiers/scanners are available for extracts from reference books in the reference-only stock. The online library offers access to an ever-growing number of academic databases, e-journals and e-books for all locations, even those without a campus library.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. Through the SRH Campussports e.V. we offer you a sports club where you can make your individual wishes come true! Participation is subject to fees. The complex has a weights room with modern strength and endurance equipment, a gym with climbing wall, basketball hoops and football goals, as well as an outdoor area with street soccer and volleyball court.
