Mass spectrometer (2 x MALDI-TOF/TOF; SolariX FTICR, ESI-QTOF) and FTIR microscope, Bruker Reference Centre/mass spectrometry, high-end microscopy platform, Process Engineering laboratories, S2 Genetic Technology laboratories.

Other special features

Support for students through scholarships (Germany scholarships), per year an average of 9 Bachelor's scholarships and 7 Master's scholarships; Approx. 50% of Germany scholarships at the HS Mannheim are procured by the faculty of Biotechnology; 10% of Bachelor's students and 15% of Master degree students are supported by Germany scholarships.
