Special features regarding teaching

Courses are offered by three higher education institutions: Leibniz Universität Hannover, Stiftung Tierärztliche Hochschule, Medizinische Hochschule Hannover offer a broad excellence in teaching with numerous elective options. A mobility window has been integrated into the curricula of the Molecular and Applied Plant Sciences degree courses and the Bachelor's degree course in Biology.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The Leibniz Universität Hannover maintains the Office for International Affairs which has a wide range of exchange programmes and gives students qualified advice. At the Faculty of Natural Sciences, an International Team was founded in which the individual subjects are networked with each other.

Other special features

It is easy to switch between the individual Bachelor's degree courses of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, including the teacher training programmes. There are numerous master's degree courses for biology: Molecular Microbiology, Plant Biotechnology, Food Research and Development, all at LUH; Master's degree course Animal Biology & Biomedical Sciences at TiHo; Master's degree course Biochemistry, Biomedicine and Biomedical Data Science at MHH.
