The department has a broad network with numerous ERASMUS+ and worldwide partner universities. There are several double-degree programmes with European higher education institutions; new cooperations in Great Britain and Asia are being established; international exchange through networks such as CLADEA, AACSB and HERMES as well as the International Summer School. Internationalisation@home, binational student meetings, buddy programmes, International Week and an association for international students contribute to an open, inclusive and globally oriented campus life.

Excellent technical equipment of the Business Informatics chairs with their own laboratories for research and teaching, including: Eye tracking; IoT lab; Organisational communication lab; Use of the labs and software for exercises, seminars and theses, various computer pools with workstations, a wide range of databases and specialist literature.

Numerous research projects on behalf of state and private sector institutions (including DFG, BMBF, BMWI, State of Baden Württemberg) possibility of student participation through theses or field tests. Practical, interdisciplinary and design-oriented research on the following topics: Artificial Intelligence; Data analytics, agile software development, digital transformation, digital management, negotiation management and simulations; Internet of Things and I4.0

During your degree courses, you have the opportunity to carry out research-learning projects via Humboldt reloaded. The Hohenheim CareerCenter supports the transition between studying and professional life. This facility provides contacts with business and industry and provides information on the professional world at an early stage of study - from work placements, events and seminars to the provision of key qualifications. As a central contact and coordination point, the Green Office networks all sustainability activities and supports the establishment of a culture of sustainability.
