Special features regarding teaching

In learning centres, students are supported by staff and student tutors. The master's degree course in mathematics and technomathematics includes a "mathematical internship" with practice-oriented project work. In addition, the minor subject or technical focus subject can be strongly expanded. In the Master's degree course, in addition to individual courses, a Master's focus is identified each year, i.e. coordinated courses introduce students to a research area. Teacher training courses cover a spectrum from special needs education to the Teaching Qualification for Grammar and Comprehensive Schools.

Support for founders

Business start-ups are supported interdisciplinary by the technology and business start-up centre "TecUP" of the University of Paderborn (among others by lecture series and certificates).
