Target group

The generalised orientation of the degree course qualifies graduates for demanding management and leadership positions in various areas of business. The research-oriented focus of the degree course qualifies graduates in particular for management positions in knowledge-intensive contexts as well as for advanced, multidisciplinary research activities. The degree is only aimed at students who did not opt for an Economics subject in their first degree.

The degree programme is aimed at students who have not completed any economics subject during their first degree. Since General Management is an English-language graduate degree course starting in the autumn semester of 2024, very good English language skills at C1 level are required. German language skills are desirable, but not a mandatory admissions requirement. If you would like to take courses from our other graduate programmes, German teaching formats may be available.
