Annotation

The academic degree in the interdisciplinary two-subject Bachelor’s degree course qualifies for admission to professional life and, DEPENDING ON ONE’S DEGREE COURSE PLANNING, for the Master’s in Teaching Qualification for Grammar Schools (as an extension subject) and/or admission to a course of study in a subject-specific Master´s degree programme.; this is the case, for example, for the Master's degree programme at the University of Osnabrück in Language in Europe, Literature and Culture in Europe and Theology and Culture. In the dual-subject Bachelor's degree course, alongside the core subject of Romance Studies/Italian and one or two further core subjects, an inter-disciplinary professional qualification area is completed, which, depending on the career goal, comprises the core curriculum Teacher Education (IKC) or the acquisition of key competences based on the 4-Steps+ model. Depending on the professional goal, core subjects that can be combined are: English Studies/English, Biology, Chemistry, Educational Science, Protestant Theology/Religion, Geography/Earth Sciences, German Studies/German, History, Catholic Theology/Religion, Art History, Art Education/Art, Latin, Mathematics, Musicology/Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Romance Studies/French, Romance Studies/Spanish, Sociology, Sports Science/Sport, Environmental Systems Science or Macroeconomics Romance Studies/Italian can also be chosen as a minor subject in combination with the major subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Protestant Theology/Religion, Geography, Art Education/Art, Mathematics or Physics.
