Annotation

The Bachelor's degree in the multi-disciplinary dual-subject course of study qualifies students for entry into professional working life and, DEPENDING ON THE COURSE PLANNING, for admission to a subject-related Master's degree course, therefore fundamentally for the Master's degree course in Geoinformatics at the Universität Osnabrück, for example.

In the dual-subject Bachelor's degree course, alongside the core subject of Geoinformatics and a further core subject, an inter-disciplinary professional qualification area is completed which comprises the acquisition of key competencies based on the "4-Schritte +" ("4 steps +") model.

Depending on the professional goal, core subjects that can be combined are: Biology, Chemistry, Educational Science, Protestant Theology/Religion, Geography, History, Computer Science, Catholic Theology/Religion, Art Education/Art, Mathematics, Music Studies/Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Sociology, Sports Science/Sport, Environmental Systems Science or Economics.

Geoinformatics can also be chosen as a minor subject in combination with the major subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Protestant Theology/Religion, Geography, Art Education/Art, Mathematics or Physics.
