Target group

Graduates of a professionally relevant Bachelor's degree in the fields of "Chemistry", "Biology", "Biochemistry" or "Biotechnology" or with proof of a comparable domestic or foreign professional qualification.

Annotation

The students of the Master’s course in Biochemistry at the Philipps-Universität Marburg should build on their broad and well-founded scientific training in a Bachelor’s degree, in particular to further develop and deepen their research skills so that they are theoretically and practically able to experimentally carry out their own research project as part of a doctoral thesis to plan, implement and document on a scientific level. In the Master's programme, there is the possibility of a very individual profile in the field of Biochemistry, with the possibility of occupying chemical and related, non-Biochemical fields.
