Annotation
The Bachelor's degree programme in Social Sciences is a combination degree programme of political science and sociology. It imparts basic theoretical and empirical knowledge of politics and society, with a focus on Germany and Europe. Students learn, for example, what characterises a strong democracy, or why social inequality exists and how it affects all of our lives. Students learn methods of both qualitative and quantitative empirical social research. In this way, they acquire the necessary tools to conduct interviews and interpret statistics themselves.
