This part of the program meets national and international standards in German Studies and enables students to continue their studies on a Master's degree programme. an "interdisciplinary foundation" component, in which students can choose between a historiography or a philosophy module, and a lecture cycle on current key topics in society, which is jointly organised by several departments in the Faculty of Human Sciences study of a profile focus to deepen and professionally expand German Studies qualifications. From the second semester onwards, students choose one of the following five profiles: A) Media (with study components from Media Education, Philosophy and Computer Science), B) Cultural industry (with study components in Economics), C) German-English studies (with English and Comparative studies), D) Language and Computer Science (with course components in Computer Science) and D) German as a Foreign Language / German as a Second Language.
