The degree course is aimed at graduates with a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in degree programmes in the field of Nutritional Sciences, Biochemistry / Molecular Biology or subject-related study programmes and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree amounting to 180 credits at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements
A technical requirement is proof of an academic degree in nutritional sciences, ecotrophology, biology, biochemistry or equivalent. Admission to the course is subject to defined selection criteria, which include, for example the final grade (at least 2.2) and an application letter. Good command of English is required for the course of study. International applicants must provide proof of German language proficiency at the level of the DSH examination (min. level 2), the TestDaF (TDN 4x4) or a recognised equivalent.
