Admission requirements

Relevant vocational training Applicants who cannot provide evidence must alternatively demonstrate a work placement of at least one year in a relevant discipline (Section 7 (2) of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Teacher Training Act (LehrbildG M-V)). For admission, at least eight months must be demonstrated before enrolment. The remaining four months can be completed by the end of the fifth semester and are accompanied by regular events organised by the course coordinator. As a requirement for enrolment, all prospective teaching students must participate in mandatory student advice and counselling at the university.
